Are we living next door to a cartoon culture?

Your jaw will drop.

This cartoon was produced for doctors at the US Veterans Administration to assist in "treating" things like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder for returning US combat troops.

A cartoon. For doctors.

Worse, is that it uses an analogy employing the story of Gilgamesh. Myth.

And then, it provides this little gem towards the end:
Simple things, like exercise, sleep, hygiene and a few less lattes in the morning.
And this one:
Yeah, it's that Greek, Icarus. He had some pretty bad experiences as a POW, and then he just couldn't seem to keep his feet on the ground. Bad case of sunburn.
You can go here for the transcript if the video starts to make you sick.
If that isn't a sign of the way things have become, this new US Army recruiting tool is the latest in interactive cartoon characters.

Or, you can go here and get just about the same thing.
