"A couple drinks" and other fictions

Wherein this morning Boris is (yet again) empirically reminded that last night's claim of "only 2 or 3 pints after work" is always a terrible and ghastly lie when uttered by Antipodean doctoral candidates. 'Two or three pubs' would've been far closer to the truth.

Much less painful, and at least as fun, are the fictions currently on offer over at Stageleft. The Game is called Ficki, and it is played like this:
…create a completely fictional sketch of a person you don’t know that either captures or satirizes the self they present to the world through their blog-presence.

So why don’t we all do the same thing? Here’s your challenge.

a) Choose someone in blogdom. Anyone. It can be a blogger, or a regular correspondent without a blog.

b) Write a one-paragraph fictional sketch that sums them up. Because it’s fictional, we’ll refer to it as a “Ficki”.

c) The only rules are that you can’t do yourself, and that your Ficki may contain NO correct factual information, as far as you know. (Peter may actually BE a retired beekeeper, for all I know). It has to be fiction.

d) If you do a blogger, send them a note to let them know they’ve been fickied, and link them back to this thread [at Stageleft] so they can discover their inner essence as seen by the world.

I think TGB should definitely involve themselves. I may join later, but first I need to crawl around inside a coffee pot and de-lint my brain.
